Amana-Goodman 0161R00022 Drain Pan

The Amana-Goodman 0161R00022 Drain Pan is an HVAC component designed to collect and manage condensate produced during the cooling process. Installed beneath the evaporator coil, it works by capturing moisture that forms as warm air passes over the coil and directing it to the condensate drain system for safe removal. Commonly used in compatible air handlers and indoor coil units, this drain pan helps prevent water leaks, protects surrounding equipment and structures from moisture damage, supports proper system drainage, and contributes to reliable, efficient HVAC performance.
